Relaxation

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog!  I am looking forward to communicating with all of you through our new blogging techniques.  It should be fun and a nice break from our discussion boards.

So I listened to the video and hear are my thoughts.  I believe that in order for relaxation techniques such as the one we had to listen to will only work if you allow it to work.  You have to go in with positive thoughts and then the outcome will be positive.  I have shared much of what I have learned through past courses and many that I share it with laugh at me.  I swear to them that it works but they just refuse to open their minds.  With me, my body did exactly what he said it would do.  I really could not lift my arms.  The exercise guided me to 100% communicate with my body.  It was great, relaxing, and helpful with the day I had.  It is a shame that many people have negative thoughts about things such as this but what do you do?

    I have never done this kind of relaxation before and I have heard all kinds of opinions on it. You have very positive thoughts about the whole experience and although I tried but was not able to experience much, I hope I will get to the point of getting the 100% relaxation.

  2. Hi Jacqui,
    I agree with you that you do have to have positive thoughts and a willingness to open yourself to mediation. The results can be powerful, but the person has to be ready. It sounds like your friends might not be in that spot yet.
